A variety of photos from professional and personal events, including conferences and experiences abroad

I met former president Bill Clinton at his Clinton Global Initiative University conference in Austin, TX.  I went with three other students from UST representing the MicroCredit Program.  It was a wonderful experience, and we made some valuable connections.

I met Paul Begala at the CGIU Conference as well.  He is a former adviser to Bill Clinton, and currently a CNN commentator.  I talked with him briefly about the MicroCredit Program, and he had positive things to say about the University of St. Thomas.

Taken in DC, where I interned during the summer of 2007 through the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute at the Ford Fund as well as the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility.  It was a great experience.  We were able to interact with various members of Congress, dignitaries from various countries, and representatives from different governmental and inter-governmental organizations.

Serving as MC at the UST's Residence Life talent show.  As an RA first at Guinan Hall and later at Young Hall for upperclassmen, I had the opportunity to plan and help out in a large number of events during my time at UST.

With fellow participants at the LeaderShape Institute in Illinois.  I attended this program after my freshman year at UST.  It was a very enriching experience and I highly recommend it to college leaders who have the opportunity to attend.

In Mar del Plata, Argentina.  This amazing study abroad experience in the winter break of my sophomore year sparked my interest in Argentina, and is why I selected it as my first choice in the application for my Ambassadorial Scholarship.

Another fun event I participated in as a Residence Life staff member.  In this Murder Mystery event, I played a thug in an Italian mafia family.
